8th of June Workshop: The Silk Slip Skirt

In this intimate 2.5 hour workshop, experts will guide you on how to make a versatile, vintage-inspired short slip skirt. This was designed to be worn on its own or as an undergarment. You do not need any prior experience to join us, but as we'd consider this a specialist fabric, you will need a lot of patience with silk! The material we'll be using is a semi-sheer, cream, double-sided silk.

On the day, you're welcome to choose between a satin (lustrous) or matte finish. The trim we use is a rare cotton-based Nottingham lace and as it's vintage, this is available in limited quantities. The sewing techniques you'll learn by hand and on a machine can be applied to your next project, whether you want to make more of your own wardrobe or have the know-how to mend and repair your clothes. We're so excited to start assembling with you!

Upon purchase, we will begin to process your order and a member of the team will contact you within 2 working days for your size, as this will be cut to order. Please note you will not be shipped a physical item, the product you've purchased is a garment kit to be made at our workshop.
